Racing to the finish line

We were celebrating with Year 11 who finished their GCSEs this week. Many of them came to join us for their Leavers Tea on Monday, and more will be at their Prom this evening to mark this important moment. We look forward to their final results, hoping they will see that their hard work has paid off.

Other students were also sitting exams this week, as students in Years 7-9 experienced end of year exams as part of the long term preparation for their GCSEs. They will get their results soon, which will help them identify areas of strength and some targets for the rest of the year and beyond.

Our talented musicians are at the Purcell School for Music this afternoon taking part in a concert. The Purcell School is Britain's oldest specialist music school, and we are delighted to continue developing such a successful link with them.

Podium finishes at District Athletics have become the norm, and this week was a particularly good one for this. We came 7th overall out of nearly 20 schools, and are delighted with the performance of so many students.
